Not serendipity

Someone recently congratulated me on my new found health and that I was able to help a close friend of mine's son find the same help over POTS. They called it "serendipity". I smiled, the word seemed to fit the situation, although it was strange coming from a twenty something male it seemed like a nice enough word.

I later looked it up to find that it meant "luck in finding good things by accident". The definition shocked me. Nothing about my journey to health was luck or accident. It was a long road where God wanted to pick me up and carry me to healing but I couldn't see his plan and insisted that I could do it myself, so I walked inch by inch in the wrong direction for years until finally I was so ill I had no choice but to be carried.

NOT serendipity, but GOD. By God's definition of how he treats us, serendipity is a fallacy.

I hope you have a wonderful day not filled by luck or accident but by the peaceful, healing of God's love.
